Welcome back to my blog, dear readers. A couple of weeks ago, my city hosted for the first time an event that had already been held in other parts of the country for years: the Hot Dog Trail.

This event involves several businesses in the industry preparing a special hot dog for the competition, and all the businesses have to sell it at the same price, with the goal of finding the winning hot dog. After tasting the product, customers have to vote in various categories to choose the winner.

Since some friends of mine have a business that was participating, the first hot dog I tried was theirs. Honestly, it was a 10/10—and not just because I know them, but because they have great products. The hot dog they offered had caramelized onions in a bacon sauce that was incredible.

Later, I had the chance to try another hot dog from a different business that was also competing. People were talking about this place and how their product was exquisite, so we went there another day. Their hot dog was made with spicy shredded beef and was also delicious, but my winner was still the first one.

A few days after the event, we found out the results: the winner was El Catire Hot Dog, a business that’s been in San Cristóbal for several years. However, I didn’t get to try the hot dog they had at this year’s event.

I really love these kinds of events because they encourage people to try something different and also to support the talent of our entrepreneurs.

I hope to be able to try all the hot dogs at the next event.

Bienvenidos un día más a mi blog queridos lectores. Hace un par de semanas en mi ciudad se llevo a cabo por primera vez un evento que ya se hacía años anteriores en el país y se trata de la Ruta del Perro Caliente.

Esta consiste en que varios negocios de este rubro, preparan un perro caliente especial para la competencia, y todos los negocios tienen que venderlo al mismo precio, con la finalidad de encontrar al perro caliente ganador. Sus clientes, luego de probar el producto, tienen que votar en varias categorias para escoger al ganador.

Como unos amigos tienen un negocio que iba a participar, el primer perro caliente que probe fue el de ellos. La verdad estaba 10/10 y es solo porque los conozco sino porque tienen buenos productos. El perro caliente que ellos ofrecieron tenia cebollas caramelizadas en una salsa de tocineta que estaba increíble.

Luego tuve la oportunidad de probar otro perro en otro negocio que también estaba compitiendo. Las personas hablaban de este lugar y de que su producto era exquisito así que otro día fuimos para alla. El perro de ellos era de carne mechada picante y también estaba delicioso, sin embargo mi ganador era el primero.

Luego de varios días del evento. Conocimos los resultados, el ganador fue El Catire Hot Dog, un negocio que tienen varios años en San Cristóbal. Sin embargo, no llegue a probar el perro que tenían en esta edición.

La verdad me encantan este tipo de eventos, porque motivan a las personas a hacer algo diferente y también a apoyar el talento de nuestros emprendedores.

Espero poder probar todos los perros de la siguiente edición.
