ENG
At the Chilean grandparents' house, there is a large plot of land with lots of plants. Lately, I have been exploring it, discovering new things every day.

One morning, while I was walking around, I came across some mushrooms. Some of them were completely open, which got me thinking, did you know that mushrooms do that? I had no idea.

I picked them up and just as I was about to take them to the kitchen and make a sautéed meal with them, I remembered something important: grandpa sprays the ground with a weird liquid to kill the little bugs that eat the plants. And of course, that same liquid falls on the mushrooms that grow there.

So, although I was tempted by those fresh mushrooms, I decided not to risk having problems later. Better safe than sorry.

After leaving the mushrooms where they were, I continued my walk around the grounds, sometimes, the simplest things are the ones that brighten up the day the most.

And although I was left wanting to try those mushrooms, at least I learned an important lesson: it is always good to be informed before taking a step. And who knows, maybe the next time I find mushrooms around here, they'll be free of any suspicious liquid or I'll risk washing them really well.

After this experience I discovered how mushrooms are born, as I had no idea what they were like before they were harvested.
