Last Wednesday night, my friend Shiela organized a small get-together before she returned to Manila for work.
It was her last bonding moment with us before she went back to her "real life".
And we, as her friends, wanted to make the most of it.
The gathering was held at my mother-in-law's house, just next to ours.
Sheila prepared spaghetti alfredo and brought soju.
While we? We provided the rice and dinner dishes. Just a simple home-cooked meal like fish and vegetables.
For dessert, we had coffee jelly.
Everything was filling.
After eating, we played the game "Imposter". It was my first time playing it, and the game ended without me ever becoming the imposter. 😛
It was full of laughter and fun moments.
Even our cat, Hunter, became part of the celebration.
My hubby drew eyebrows on her face and added a little highlight on her whiskers.
She just sat there calmly, while she became the star of the night. 😆
Almost everyone couldn't resist taking photos of her new "makeup look." 🤣
Actually, her face had taken over our social media feeds.
After that silly moment, we continued the night with soju, stories, and endless conversations.
It made the night even more memorable.
It was just a simple yet genuine night that reminded us how precious time and friendships really are.
