Pansit + Plain Bread
Our breakfast today was pansit. A dish that's very common in Filipino homes. But instead of pairing it with rice, I eat it with plain bread, which is one of my favorite combos. For me, bread completely complements its flavor, balancing the savory taste of the pansit. I make it spread like peanut butter.

Tiger Moth
After breakfast, while watching over the kids, my hubby spotted a beautiful moth. It's a Tiger moth. The patterns and colors on its wings were vibrant and unique. Those beautiful details make you appreciate nature. Though, I preferred not to hold it, as I was a little afraid of its tiny claws.

Tokwaholic
By lunchtime, we cooked tokwa again. Honestly, this dish has been our family's craving this month. Like we want it over and over again because it just tastes so good and satisfying. We just fry it until the outside becomes golden and slightly crispy. And for the sauce, we mix soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, chopped onion, and garlic. It's a perfect balance of salty, sour, and a little bit of sweetness. When you dip the fried tokwa into the sauce, it absorbs the flavor. 🤤 Our whole family loves it. Even my two kids enjoy eating it. And of course, my hubby too. Actually, we can eat it for every meal of the day. Haha. That's how much we've been craving it lately.

Watching The Sunset
In the afternoon, we watch the sunset. It was especially gorgeous. Also, the clouds were abundantly scattered across the sky and it was stunning. 😍 It makes the sky look even more dramatic and beautiful. Of course, I captured this moment so I could share it as part of my ordinary snapshots today. Isn't it amazing? 💖
