Train Movement - Memories From A Local Train Station

in Lifestyle4 months ago

I just went through a post that was about her first time traveling by plane and I felt jealous, it is my fantasy transportation but I'm yet to even see it happening anytime soon. Maybe I'll plan bigger for the vacation I have in mind to go by air, have fun and come back by air as well just to bring my fantasy to reality.

Well, until that happens, I've got a favourite kind of transportation I was so glad to experience as much as I did at that time. It was one of the many routes to the university I attended and I discovered it a year to when I was graduating. I wish I found it much earlier but it was still amazing I found out when I did.

The Train is my favourite kind of transportation and I've got so much to say about it.

I still have the pictures I took from my first time using the local train station in my state to where my university is located. It was from one excitement to another for me as I went through the steps to book for a seat. The excitement was more for myself and many others because it was a new station and was a lot cheaper to board than using other vehicles aside airplane to our different locations.

The organization of going through the simple steps to board the train made it even more exciting. There was hardly never a queue whenever I went there but it was all that that got me even more exciting about my journey especially for my first time using the station. I met a really long queue but I felt so at ease when I heard the amount and the time they will take to get to my destination from the station.

Here is a shot of one of my train adventures where I met a really long queue.

They had both regular and VIP seats for bookings, since I'm not so rich, I would always book for the regular and trust me, it is just as comfortable. How did I know? I had a very sweet experience in one of my train travels... Some of the workers made a few of the regulars go sit in the VIP lounge and I was one of them.

Believe me, the difference wasn't much but very notable, it had less people in it, the air was fresher and there were a few soldiers guiding the lounge 😂 I felt like a politician's daughter until we got off the train.

And there was also a time I didn't pay for my ride, it turned out that I traveled on a day they had decided to ride every seat to their destination for free. I was really shocked because such luck rarely comes from the government to it's citizens but I guess they proved me wrong that day.

Here is an outer look of the train and it's station.

I can't find the shots I took when I'm inside the train but it had a really good indoor decors and arrangement, well spaced for a good number of passengers to feel comfortable in their journey. The train movement actually gave me the vibe of traveling by train but I know it isn't close to that experience and I'm yet to experience it to be sure.

A lot of changes has occurred with the train station since I graduated, not positively though but I hope to have more better memories of train movement if I get the chance. These are a few memories from the local train station in my state, I miss those days really.

You said about the train journey like you experienced it recently and the memory is still intact. I can remember once you shared about it and it also indicated how good the journey was which didn't allow you to forget about the train journey. I belive that train journey is enjoyable and cost-effective at the same time.

Haha yeah, they were too good memories to forget easily. Train journey is cost effective indeed.

I am really craving to experience train transportation. Most times when I am set to travel to the east by bus, I wish there's train available..at least our government can look into this mood of transportation and make it accessible at every strategic locations. After flight, it's train for me...it will be more affordable than flight and still faster with less stress
Hopefully, your fantasy would turn into reality pretty soon 😇

It's even the less stress for me aside having to stand on a queue to book a seat in the train lol. Having a train station in different locations would be really cool.

Why so fresh and fine? Keep it up👌👌

I've only experienced a train ride just once in my life as an excursion in primary school, it was a nice trip, and I still can't forget it even though it was more than 2 decades ago.

Be forming regular for us when we know you are VIP caliber lol

I wish our government would do more to create more interstate network travel for train rides.

Haha my Glory, they are old pictures o. She ain't fresh again 🥲

Wow 2 decades ago is a long time and you still remember it.

Let's not start this argument now, I'm a regular ma 😂

Not related, but you are so finnnnnnnnneeeee.

Okay, related. You had a really good experience. As for me, I don't think I want to experience the train trip I had ever again. 😂

Lol relating and not relating, well thanks for your sweet compliment hehe.

Now I'm curious what your train experience was like

This was an interesting read. Having regular and VIP bookings made it a bit similar to travelling by air. You sure had a very good experience.

Yeah, it really did. The interior of the train also made it seem that way haha.

Is you feeling jealous because you haven't been on a plane.
When I'm yet to experience either of the two (train and plane)

Lol sorry o 😂

Smiles...

Wait oo. You slept in train station? How come you have two different clothes? 😂. Or train station is now ship? That have boutique. Nice read

Lol they are all photos from different days o

How do you want me to be believe that?! I refuse to believe

Be playing
