Bread with crackling, frappuccino and a beautiful view

I have already spoken on other occasions of the moments I lived during my stay in Lima, a city that is full of contrasts, nuances, good food and spectacular architecture that evokes colonial times. Luckily or by chance, every time I went out for a walk I took pictures of everything I did and so it was that little by little I was exponentially increasing the photo gallery of my phone with small moments that I can now recall in publications like these.

According to the technical information of these photos, they were taken on April 24, 2023, so it's been a couple of years, and well, what I will share below was a visit we made to one of the most recognized sangucherías in Peru. “El Chinito” is a franchise that has dozens of sangucherías throughout the territory, there they basically serve a sandwich filled with pork crackling, but not just any, in fact it is a very high quality pork crackling which is reflected in the price, but it is well worth it. The sandwich comes with finely chopped red onion, lemon and mint, which can be added inside the bread or eaten separately.

After enjoying the best pork crackling sandwich in Peru, we decided to cool off with a frappuccino at the “Frescuras” franchise, as you can see in the photo, topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. In the summer, the high temperatures can be devastating, but drinks like these serve to lift your spirits and cool you down. I'd say the quality of the frappuccino was totally standard, pretty average, and compliant.

To finish the tour, we decided to walk around Paseo de la Republica Avenue, where I could take this beautiful postcard of the Palace of Justice of the Republic of Peru, a majestic structure, impressive and with a striking architecture that makes those who walk there look away to appreciate such a building, being under the main entrance feels like being in a movie.

This is how my photo gallery continues to allow me to travel back in time to recall these unforgettable moments that are more than memories, they are experiences that I unconsciously long to repeat, but distances are cruel and make us put our feet on the ground.

Beautiful postcard the last picture 😍 it's good that you keep these pictures that allow you to travel to the past when you lived in Lima, it's nice to remember and share those moments, I lost many photos, so now only live in my memory hahaha

Lima still impresses me, I should definitely put it on my list for when I have the opportunity to visit a country, so far I have not visited any of them haha

Lima is a beautiful destination for those who want to travel to Latin America, it is a city that has a lot to offer. I hope someday you can take a plane and go beyond the borders of your country, there is so much to see and explore.
