I spent the morning tidying up the garden, which was a mess, but I couldn't do much because it started to drizzle. Anyway, I'll show you the plants growing there: some rosebuds, some calla lilies, and some very pretty little white flowers that I don't know what they are. There are also some violets, but I need to make room. Then there's a succulent that my new neighbor gave me; she says it brings good luck. I hope so, because we need it so much during this dark period! When I have the time, the means, and the weather is favorable, I really want to start tidying up the garden, which is currently a real mess. We have a large garden, but it's half destroyed and overgrown due to the previous owner, but little by little we'll fix everything, right? On the day, as usual for the holidays, we dedicated ourselves to food, with an exceptional pizza maker, my stepdaughter Bianca!

Pasé la mañana arreglando el jardín, que estaba hecho un desastre, pero no pude hacer mucho porque empezó a lloviznar. En fin, os enseño las plantas que crecen allí: unos capullos de rosa, unos lirios cala y unas florecitas blancas muy bonitas que no sé qué son. También hay algunas violetas, pero necesito hacerles sitio. Luego está una suculenta que me regaló mi nueva vecina; dice que trae buena suerte. ¡Ojalá sea cierto, porque la necesitamos mucho en estos tiempos difíciles! Cuando tenga tiempo, los medios y el tiempo acompañe, quiero empezar a arreglar el jardín, que ahora mismo es un auténtico desastre. Tenemos un jardín grande, pero está medio destrozado y lleno de maleza por culpa del anterior dueño, pero poco a poco lo iremos arreglando, ¿verdad? Ese día, como es habitual en las fiestas, nos dedicamos a la comida, ¡con una pizzera excepcional, mi hijastra Bianca!

I must say that she doesn't limit herself to classic toppings but also to more creative ones, such as speck, cooked ham and mascarpone, mushrooms and anchovies, capers and anchovies (we had lots of anchovies), four cheeses with lots of gorgonzola, and two classic Margherita pizzas that I didn't have time to photograph because they ate them too quickly. Maybe the shape isn't perfect, but I assure you, the pizzas were all delicious. After lunch, my husband obviously fell asleep on the couch with the cat on top. They were so cute that I couldn't resist taking a picture. Anyway, as always during the holidays, we ate too much. I think tomorrow we'll have a light lunch of salad and vegetables!
Al igual que su padre, ella también tiene un verdadero talento para hacer pizza. Sabe cómo preparar la masa, luego obviamente le da forma con un rodillo y le añade los ingredientes. Eran tan monos que no pude resistirme a sacarles una foto. En fin, como siempre en vacaciones, comimos demasiado. ¡Creo que mañana comeremos algo ligero, ensalada y verduras!
