Imagine a day full of family, your favorite food, nature, flowers, and outdoor fun; wouldn't you love it?
This was the day it was about, after many many days.
My visit to my hometown was the peak of the year for me. Not only because of my family but I get to explore many places and things on the last tour. The day I'm about to share is somewhat perfect because I longed for a day like that.
Let me share more.
The day started by spending time with these beautiful Budgies. My in-laws added them as pets recently. They are so cheerful! I fed them and listened to their chirping for a while.
But if you ask me, I never liked the idea of caged birds for entertainment.
Anyway...
Then I went to cherish the terrace garden. There were so many winter veggies, I was amazed to see how gracefully the plants are growing in small pots.
And they don't need much fertilizer and disinfectant but they usually grow with a little help of bio-fertilizer.
We had a lunch invitation to one of our relatives and headed there at around 12.30 PM. And look at what they have served, a table full of traditional dishes.
I get to enjoy some of my favorite food there. To be honest, I was tired of tasting my cooking and it was a perfect opportunity to give my taste buds a different taste.
While having lunch, we planned for a short trip to a tourist and historical place near our hometown with my cousins.
It's a King's palace, the sight is beautiful with architectural wonder and natural beauty. We spent more than an hour exploring the beautiful place.
We later have a sit on the grass of the place. There were so many flowers and the garden was so beautifully decorated; we were not the only ones admiring the beauty but many other visitors too.
The sun-kissed flowers looked so beautiful, we couldn't but spend the whole afternoon there and before the sun set we left.
I will share more photos of the place later in my post.
The day was not over yet although we had so much fun throughout the day that it felt like this could be a perfect ending of the day. We headed back to our home and took a rest.
I would call this day a perfect one, any day. Just because this is what I miss about my home, the warmth of home, some home-cooked meals, and these small adventures.
I wish to have a day like this again soon.
