Hello friends of the #beer community in this #beersaturday!
With pleasure I respond to the invitation of my girlfriend @maiasun84 about my vision, from my profession as a psychologist, in relation to beer and everything that surrounds it that of course implies its social and personal consumption.
It happens that I really don't have much left to address considering that in her recent post, shared here, she has masterfully made a description of elements that come together on the topic.
Without going into depth about its origins and the various theories that describe different geographical points (Mesopotamia, Egypt or Sumeria), let us remember that in ancient times, since #beer was discovered and its production diversified, there were times when it was considered currency. change or source for food due to its high carbohydrate and calorie content.
This reflected different meanings than those we perceive today, from the socioeconomic to the psychological, if we analyze that aspects that had to do with health and the impact on the relationship environment or personally for individuals were not yet assumed. Let us not forget, for example, that it was mainly women who were in charge of its production. And here is a characteristic that is not abundant today in our modernity.
Thus, we have another particularity and it is in relation to culture. Societies, although they were assimilating beer as something everyday, were assigning meanings to it that differed among them. For example, there were Nordic towns in which it was common to find it as a symbol of reaffirmation of pacts between clan leaders, something that was also transmitted to other latitudes with non-similar customs. In these spaces, furthermore, those who were capable of drinking more were seen as superior beings in terms of their virile traits and respect, something that is not necessarily perceived in the same way today.
Up to this point, I do not intend to expand on the topic because it has a lot to cover and we will share about them later. I hope I have provoked you with these letters to think about how much history and codes surround a drink as exquisite as beer and that also has the ability to bring us together in this community of the world of #hive, even though we are from different geographical locations.
I conclude for now by highlighting how, today its consumption is generally appreciated in culinary spaces to prepare exquisite dishes, or simply accompany them on occasions, or more commonly as a refreshing drink that allows socializing among co-workers, family, friends, couples, or simply consuming it when we wish. The question is what meanings we give to it and how we consume it; and that is where I want to invite you to comment on your considerations in this regard.

Hola amigos de #beersaturday!
Con placer respondo a la invitación de mi novia @maiasun84 sobre mi visión, desde mi profesión como psicólogo, en relación con la cerveza y todo lo que le rodea que implique por supuesto a su consumo social y personal.
Sucede que realmente no me queda mucho por abordar considerando que ella en su reciente post, acá compartido, ha realizado magistralmente una descripción de elementos que confluyen en el tema.
Sin adentrarnos en profundidad sobre sus orígenes y las diversas teorías que describen disímiles puntos geográficos(Mesopotamia, Egipto o Sumeria), recordemos que en la antigüedad, desde que se descubre la cerveza y se diversifica su producción, hubo épocas en que era considerada moneda de cambio o fuente para la alimentación por su alto contenido en carbohidratos y calorías.
Ello plasmaba significados diferentes a los que hoy percibimos, desde lo socioeconómico hasta lo psicológico, si analizamos que aún no se asumían aspectos que tuviesen que ver con la salud y la repercusión en el entorno de relaciones o en lo personal para los individuos. No olvidemos, por ejemplo, que eran las mujeres principalmente quienes se encargaban de su producción. Y he ahí una característica que hoy día no abunda en nuestra modernidad.
Así, tenemos otra particularidad y es en relación con lo cultural. Las sociedades, si bien fueron asimilando a la cerveza como algo cotidiano, le fueron asignando significados que diferían entre ellas. Por ejemplo, existieron pueblos nórdicos en los que era común encontrarla como símbolo de reafirmación de pactos entre líderes de clanes algo que también se transmitió a otras latitudes con costumbres no similares. En estos espacios, además, quienes eran capaces de beber mayor cantidad eran vistos como seres superiores en cuanto a sus rasgos viriles y de respeto, algo que hoy no es percibido de igual manera necesariamente.
Hasta aquí, no pretendo extenderme en el tema porque tiene mucho por donde abordar y compartiremos sobre ellos más adelante. Espero haberles provocado a ustedes con estas letras a pensar en cuánta historia y códigos rodean a una bebida tan exquisita como la #cerveza y que tiene también la capacidad de reunirnos en esta comunidad del mundo de #hive, a pesar de que somos de diferentes ubicaciones geográficas.
Finalizo por ahora destacando cómo, hoy se aprecia generalmente su consumo en espacios culinarios para elaborar platos exquisitos, acompañarlos en ocasiones, o más comúnmente como bebida refrescante que permite socializar entre compañeros de trabajo, familiares, amigos, parejas, o sencillamente consumirla cuando deseemos. La cuestión está en qué significados le otorgamos a ello y de qué manera la consumimos; y es entonces donde quiero invitarles a ustedes a que comenten sus consideraciones al respecto.
