Hello Hivians and all you beer lovers.
It's Saturday, which means it's #beersaturday, not that you need an excuse to drink a beer of course! Today though we accepting a challenge from @nancybriti1

Sorbet cleanses the palate you know!
It is often served between courses, well I know something else that cleanses the palate!
A good fluffing beer!
Tis the Christmas Season
And that means parties.....

On Friday we were at Christmas lunch for some of Mrs T's coworkers!
What can twenty quid buy you?

Actually a beer and a gin and tonic cost £10 which I thought was good value nowadays!
So the ten quid change went to the next couple of pints!

It was a Christmas lucnh, 2 course for £28 or 3 for £33!

Prawn and Smoked Salmon salad
This was ridiculously tasty! A 10/10 from me!

Roast Turkey with stuffing and the trimmings.
These baby carrots were out of this world and the rest of the food was just as good!

Thirsty work all this eating!
So up for another pint of IPA!
The actual cost for one point is £4.50, in this day and age it was a good price. We were in a local hotel which is just down the road from us, but we eat here quite often as it has awesome food!

The Beer ... 🍺 Gladeye IPA

🍺 Gladeye IPA What does Gemini tell us about it? The answer is below!
- Brewery: Drygate Brewing Co.
- Location: Glasgow, Scotland
- Style: American IPA / Retro-Style India Pale Ale
- ABV: 5.2%
- Flavour Profile: It's designed as a "stripped-back" IPA that is simple, unpretentious, and aggressively bitter. It features classic hop characteristics like citrus zest, resinous pine, and a subtle biscuit malt background.
- Meaning of "Gladeye": The name is thought to translate roughly to "flirty look" or "admiring glance," and the label often features a Cyclops—suggesting a single-minded focus on brewing a sharp IPA.
Beer before dessert

Wild Berry Sorbet was out of this world!

The Chocolate Orange Gateaux was too much for me!

Have you had any Christmas festivies yet? Partaken in a wee libation or three?

Posting about a beer on a Saturday on the Beer Community ....
