It's me again @restlessadvntr.
December is full of chaos; people are busy doing things just to celebrate Christmas. But don't ever forget the true nature or essence of Christmas. It's to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It is also about how he came to give us love, hope, and joy.
And behold.
This is how we celebrate Christmas.
Before anything else I would like to share with you a small history of our family on how we celebrated Christmas.
We as a family, we just celebrated Christmas with sometimes no food on the table. We're happy just having a spaghetti with sliced bread. Just reminiscing things on how we coup up things, made me cry, thinking all the struggles of my parents. All throughout our existence just to fed us. But now as we embark into our different ventures in life. We as a son (all male siblings) of God. Ready to share on what we had made all trough out the year. By sharing our blessings to others.
This photo made me realized that I think, we all did good this year as a family. My brother and his wife did all those decorations, it's there forte. But sometimes I took my time to check their work just to criticize them but in a good way to improve the design.
They are also busy wrapping gifts for us. And also, to some of our children's neighbor's that their faces are always in our house and help us sometimes with some works need to be done.
And as for me (@restlessadvntr). I was in-charge for the cooking. It was a tasky job but it's worth it to serve food on the table. I cooked buttered shrimp, Dynamite (Pepper sword + cheese wrapped in lumpia wrapper (dumpling wrapper), I also cooked lasagna, unfortunately I wasn't able to buy lasagna pasta 🍝🤌 at the market or at malls because it was sold out already. But my great mind works 😂😂😂. Instead of using the penne pasta for our tuna pasta. I just used the penne pasta as an alternative for lasagna pasta 😂 but when it's cooked. Our mouth is watering, been wanting to eat already. We cooked lechon belly or roasted pig belly 🍖. I was the one seasoned it to perfection, and indeed it was. For our sweets with just bought it in nearby stores.
But before the 12 midnight ticks. We took the opportunity to take photos of the kids, coz they might sleep early. They were happy celebrating Christmas with us. They seem like fighting but no. They are getting to know each other coz they weren't not able to see each other often. Hoping that they will get along when time comes. When they are matured because time flies and who knows.
Having a photo with their lola. It was supposedly with lolo and lola but there lolo was already asleep. Because he has so many jobs that time for their Christmas Celebration the next day. But he took his time to celebrate with us that time just a bit.
Here they are my brother and sister-in-law with their daughter. They are the ones who took their time decorating. As what I said it's there forte. So happy seeing them happy. Hoping that they will love their daughter no matter what, made her their top priority always. And also, no fighting just talking. Thank you also to my other brother who wasn't able to celebrate with us. Thank you for your generosity in spite all the difficulties in life. I know you've been longing to celebrate with us. Hopefully next time. See you around.

Me (@restlessadvntr)? I wasn't able to took photo of myself because I was so tired, feeling exhausted, i was drunk the other night and wasn't sober. But made an effort to cook food for Christmas.
Never took my time to change outfit.
My eyes were about to fall asleep. But it's all okay it was indeed a great celebration.
On the 25th day of the morning. Another Christmas Celebration took place at Purok Kaimito,Lamac, Ilihan, Tabogon, Cebu. Another drunken stories. But before that we attended the mass before the celebration started.
This was the only photo I took because I want to cherished the moment. Because first time in the history of our place that we as people of Purok Kaimito, gathered to celebrate as one. And that's the true essence of Christmas, setting aside our different struggles in life because it's always there, just give love, hope, and joy to others.
