It's over three years now since I haven't seen my old friend and he is one of my closest friend when I was studying on my college years where I stayed in a boarding house. I am ahead of him for three years when I was in my 3rd year college, he was in his 1st year college.
At that time, I think there were only two or seniors that were staying in that boarding house and I am one of the two and the rest were the new boarders or what we called the 1st year college students in MSU (Mindanao State University) in Iligan.
It was a rushed meet up because he wanted to sell his own laptop to me at half the original price and it has been
over a year since he bought this laptop. He wants to sell his laptop to buy an iPad because he said that it is more convenient than using a laptop.
Before we meet up, we chatted in one of the famous social media platform and we talked about anything and everything about our life before and now. We also talked about the things that we do during our college years and it was really fun teasing each other in the social media. Then, I introduce him again about Hive blockchain because he is also the one who introduced me in Steemit before and way back when we started about that platform, there was a real struggle but we manage to stay in steemit after we graduated and that time we were on the last year of our college when we were introduced steemit.
We made lots of memories during my college years and we had lots of struggles and challenges in our life that time. We talked lots of things before our meet up and we also talked a lot of different things and topics when we meet up. I was really happy after we saw each other, I thought he was different now from before but he was the same person when we were in our college years.
We met up because he was selling his own laptop to buy a new iPad. We met up in a Jollibee store in our next neighboring town. He was a teacher in one of the renowned university in Pagadian and he travel for about an hour to go to another town for the meet up. As for me, I also traveled for over an hour to to go to another town.
We traveled together and we met up in a Jollibee store for buying his laptop and I also needed a laptop for making an article in Hive blockchain and also to use as one of my main source of income just like on my freelance.
We only lasted for over an hour of talking and we missed each other for a long time but before we met up, I lied about him that I was still on my town and he is in the meetup place already. He was scared and nervous when I chatted him that I was on my way from my town and I am still waiting for the Van to get started. He thought that I will not meet him but when he said that he will not be staying at Jollibee, I said to him that I was in the town already but I am in the store. He was relieved when I said that I was in the city and going to the meeting place which is Jollibee.
Anyway, it was a fun meeting with him and we had lots of fun talking and we didn't knew that it was over an hour that we talk and we bid goodbyes after that loooong hour talk and we also exchange his laptop for my money.
