My entry for Hive Top Chef Competition: Freshness overload
Drinks, smoothies made from plants and fruit always have a lots of vitamins, nutrients that helps women to glow and also help to stabilise the hormones and immune system.
There are thousands of supplements out there, but they all contain preservatives that reduce their strength and also make them unhealthy, I prefer preparing smoothies or fruit drinks at home to taking supplements.
Beetroot and celery are two of my favourite smoothies because it doesn't cost much and they don't take a long time to prepare, but they're filled with what my body needs.
Just with 1.5 HBD this healthy smoothie is ready
Join me let's prepare my beetroot and celery smoothie sweetened with pineapple.
Ingredients
- Two balls of Beetroot.
- Small bunch of celery
- Two slices of pineapple for sweetness
- One glass of water
- Blender
Process
- Step one
I washed the beetroot well, peeled the skin, and sliced it into little cubes.
- Step two
I washed the celery very well, then plucked out the leaves, and I also plucked out the soft side of the stems.
- Step three
I sliced the already peeled pineapple into cubes and poured them into the washed blender, then I added one cup of water to help it blend smoothly.
Then blend till it's smooth
Then I poured it out into my cup and enjoyed it as my dinner.
The pineapple was just to give it a sweet taste because celery and beetroot alone have a sour taste and I will not be able to enjoy it so much.
Trying this #recipe as dinner is very healthy because it helps you have a good sleep and also helps the digestive system to work well, it also helps to regulate blood pressure and helps to improve lots of nutrients in the body.
