RE: Coffee with or without sugar, with or without milk? (Mini comment contest # 9)

in Amazing Drinks10 hours ago (edited)

Hello everyone!

THIS IS MY PARTICIPATION IN THE MINI CONTEST

When I was barely a couple of months old, my grandmother Francys dipped her little finger in coffee and placed it on my lips. At that moment, I felt an explosion that marked my life forever.

I could never give up coffee again. My relationship with coffee is a beautiful love story that is destined for eternity.

As I grew older, my love for coffee increased, making it impossible for me to start my day without a good cup. A huge cup! During the day I drink five cups, but only until noon; after that I don't drink any more.

I am one of those who add two small spoonfuls of sugar, no more. It's not that I can't drink coffee without sugar; I just have a sweet tooth.

My coffee should never have milk in it. Not because I don't like it, but because I came into this world with a factory defect: my stomach can't tolerate milk.

So I drink my coffee dark, strong, and with two small spoonfuls of sugar.

This time I'm going to invite @mariiale1979 to tell us how she likes her coffee.

Thanks for the invitation, the a abrazo.uelas and their things, it is very common that they do that, with my daughters I lived it.

A hug

Thanks for your participation @germanandradeg

Love, my dear Mercedes (@mercmarg)

Ja ja ja ja, pues sí, el café y yo hasta el infinito y más allá. Cariños, mi querida Mercedes (@mercmarg)

What a lovely story! Sometimes grandmothers do that, giving coffee to babies, hahahahaha, but I understand why you love coffee so much; the imprint is something that's hard to leave behind.

It's great that, even with your lactose intolerance, you haven't stopped enjoying a good cup of coffee. I suppose you drink it until noon because then it keeps you awake. I used to be like that, but now I'm immune. I can drink coffee at these hours and it doesn't keep me awake. I think I've built up a resistance to that effect.

It's nice to see you back here.

Hugs and

Cheers!
