Una bebida refrescante para disfrutar de esas tardes muy calurosas, sus jugosas pulpas nos aportan muchos beneficios que benefician nuestra piel y nos mantiene el sistema inmunológico al tope, ingerir estas frutas una o dos veces al día es suficientes para obtener la dosis diaria de vitamina C, que debemos consumir. Aunque el clima es muy varía en la ciudad. Suele suceder que hay días que pareciera que la lluvia no va a parar y tan pronto cesa. Se levanta el sol con rayos muy fulminantes, entonces el calor es abrumante.

That happened to me these days doing multiple errands, I always hydrate myself with water that I carry in a pot, but then it gets hot and does not quench my thirst, even if I am on the street I do not usually buy drinks, the truth is that I rarely drink it, I got home, sweating and very thirsty, choosing to prepare this delicious natural drink, which I found totally refreshing, a league of fruit with orange and parchita that are just consumed in these hot seasons.

Eso me paso en estos días haciendo múltiples diligencias, siempre me hidrato con agua que llevo en un pote, pero después se me calienta y no me calma la sed, aunque este en la calle no suelo comprar bebidas, la verdad que la tomo rara vez, llegue a casa, sudando y muy sedienta, optando por prepararme esta deliciosa bebida natural, que me resulto totalmente refrescante, una liga de fruta con naranja y parchita que justamente se consumen en estas temporadas de calor.

Ambas estaban muy jugosas, la naranja bastante dulce complementaba el sabor ácido de la parchita, Una vez preparado, saboreé ese rico perfume de la parchita y el sutil aroma de la naranja, me saciaron la sed por completo, utilicé las cantidades necesarias para acompañar también con la comida, la preparación no quita mucho tiempo, de inmediato la receta.

4 oranges
2 large parchitas

I prefer to drink it with the seeds, I love the acid it leaves on the palate and it is also healthier, because they contain the fiber of the fruit, I also take advantage of consuming the white skin of the parchita, traditionally at home we used to drink the juice of the parchita with its seeds, the grandmothers did not blend it.

En una jarra de vidrio colocamos la pulpa de la parchita, mi pensado era licuarla, pero la luz en ese momento desapareció. Ja, ja, ja, entonces improvisé. En la jarra vertemos también el agua y luego el zumo de la naranja, el azúcar y removemos. Si tuviera que escoger entre licuarlo o tomarlo con las pepas. Yo prefiero con las pepas, me fascina ese ácido que nos deja en el paladar además que también es más saludable, porque ellas contienen la fibra de la fruta, también aprovecho de consumir la piel blanca de la parchita, tradicionalmente en casa se tomaba el jugo de la parchita con sus semillas, las abuelas no la licuaban.
