Gosh, I would never have thought one could make a drink with these flowers. I had to Google it and saw it's what we call Hibiscus; I have several in my garden, red and pink ones. I'm now keen to try and make this drink. It's summertime here!
Nice to learn about something new, thank you @sirenahippie!
I made a smoothie about two weeks ago using Kefir, took photos of the process but not of me! Only saw the rules afterward😖
Hi my dear @lizelle
How cool to see you here visiting me!
You know that there are many types of Hibiscus. The ones used to make drinks are the ones I share with you in the photos, I hope you have those, because they are very healthy.
Regarding your post, there is no problem, you are a friend of the community, and more importantly, you are a 100% legitimate and honest user, so share your post here, even if you are not in the photos. From time to time we may make exceptions.
A big hug, I look forward to your post about kefir.
Hi @sirenahippie, the one we have looks totally different. I've not seen these flowers. It has quite a lot on one stem. Looks like I won't be able to make this.
About the kefir smoothie, thank you, I've wondering what to do with the photos :)
This is the Hibiscus flower, perhaps belongs to the same family, but it only has one flower on a stem.
Here, in Venezuela, there are many of those flowers too, and yes, that flower is from the same family, but it doesn't work for this recipe. That flower can be used to make a tea that is relaxing and helps you fall asleep well. It is also used to feed land turtles.
