Hello HIVe friends. As usual, it's smoothie time. And this time I will make a chayote smoothie to reduce bad cholesterol in my body. However, because I don't really like chayote, I mix it with another fruit, namely dragon fruit. And this is the perfect combination to cover each other's shortcomings of the fruits so that the resulting taste is naturally sweet, not excessive and covers the bland taste of the chayote but does not cover the benefits of the chayote
The ingredients I use in making this smoothie are:
1. Dragon fruit. . the dragon fruit I used for this afternoon was ½ dragon fruit. The weight of half a dragon fruit is already 250 grams
2. Chayote. just like dragon fruit I also use this chayote only half
3. 250 ML of water.
OK, let's start making it
Just like making other smoothies. The way I make smoothies this time is also the same, first I cut the dragon fruit in half then I take the flesh and then I put it in a blender. And compared to using a juicer, I prefer using a blender to make my smoothies because I like the fruit fibers left behind.
The next step is to just execute the Chayote. I cut the Chayote in half. Don't be mistaken with the red flesh. That is the remainder of cutting the dragon fruit flesh. After I peeled it, I washed the chayote thoroughly so that there was no sap left. Then after that I put it in a blender.
The next step, you must have guessed what ingredients I put in next. And yes. The next ingredient I put in is water.
After that I blended it until smooth and without straining it I put it directly into a glass.
