Hi guys! How are you all doing? I hope everyone is doing great. Today I mashed some wood apple. It was ripe wood apple from the tree. Right now, it’s the wood apple season, and you can find them being sold everywhere. The shopkeepers mash the wood apples nicely and sell them, and it tastes really delicious. But honestly, picking wood apples from your own tree and mashing them yourself to eat has a completely different kind of fun. It tastes amazing! So, I wanted to share with you all how I mashed my wood apple.
Ingredients:
1.Black salt,
2.White salt,
3.Sugar,
4.Green chili,
5.Wood apple.
First, I took a ripe wood apple from the tree.
Then I added all the ingredients one by one into the wood apple — salt, black salt, sugar, and green chili — in the right amounts and mixed them well. And then, the delicious wood apple mash was ready!
Here, you can adjust the spice level according to your own taste. If you like it spicy, you can add more green chili. You can also add some dry chili powder or crushed dried chili if you want extra heat. Since the black salt I used already had some spiciness, I didn’t add any extra chili except the green ones.
I added sugar to balance out the salt and spice. Adding a small amount of sugar to any mash helps keep the flavors balanced — and it tastes super delicious!
Thank you so much, everyone. That’s all for today. Stay well and healthy. Allah Hafiz!
