Ingredients:

1.Rice flour
2.Freshly grated coconut
3.Jaggery or brown sugar
4.Salt
5.Water.

Process:

First, take rice flour in a bowl and add a pinch of salt. Mix well. Then slowly sprinkle water into the flour and gently mix it with your fingers until the flour becomes slightly moist and crumbly, not like a dough.

Next, prepare the filling by mixing grated coconut with jaggery or brown sugar in another bowl.

Now, place a clean cloth on a steamer or a small bowl. Add a layer of the moistened rice flour, then add a spoonful of the coconut and jaggery mixture in the center. Cover it with another layer of rice flour.

Steam the rice cake for about 10–15 minutes on medium heat until it becomes soft and fully cooked.

Finally, remove it carefully from the steamer. Our delicious traditional Bangladeshi rice cake is ready to serve. Enjoy it warm!
