Today, let me share a meal that we made and ate at home.
It's not a special food.
But the new look is appealing to children.
We call this food "seaweed rice rolls".
Seaweed rice rolls are not a traditional food for us Burmese people.
I think we eat it by imitating Korean food.
The ingredients for this seaweed rice roll are seaweed sheets, rice, fried egg, carrot, fake-egg roll, salt and oil.
This is the seaweed rice roll that my wife prepared.
We cut it into small bite-sized pieces and prepared it for our son who is going to kindergarten.
Sometimes we make it at home and eat it, so it's delicious.
Seeing my children enjoy eating seaweed rice rolls makes the parents who prepare them feel satisfied.
မင်္ဂလာပါ မိတ်ဆွေတို့ရေ။
ဒီနေ့တော့ အိမ်မှာ ပြုလုပ်ကာ စားဖြစ်ခဲ့သော အစားအစာတစ်မျိုးကို မျှဝေပေးပါရစေ။
အထူးအဆန်း စားစရာမျိုးတော့ မဟုတ်ပါ။
သို့ပေမယ့် ကလေးတွေအတွက် အသွင်အပြင်သစ်က စားချင်စဖွယ်ပါပဲ။
ဒီစားစရာကို ကျွန်တော်တို့က "ရေညှိထမင်းလိပ်" ဟု ခေါ်ကြပါတယ်။
ရေညှိထမင်းလိပ် က ကျွန်တော်တို့မြန်မာလူမျိုးတွေ၏ ရိုးရာအစားအစာ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။
ကိုရီးယားအစားအစာမျိုးကို အတုယူလုပ်ဆောင်ကာ စားဖြစ်ကြသည် ထင်ပါတယ်။
ဒီ ရေညှိထမင်းလိပ် ထဲမှာ ပါဝင်တာတွေက ရေညှိဖက်ပြား၊ ထမင်း၊ ကြက်ဥကြော်၊ မုန်လာဥနီ၊ ကြက်ဥချောင်း၊ ဆား နှင့် ဆီ စသည်တို့ဖြစ်ကြပါတယ်။
ဒါက ကျွန်တော်၏ ဇနီး ပြင်ဆင်လိုက်တဲ့ ရေညှိထမင်းလိပ် ပါ။
တစ်ခါစားအတုံးငယ်လေးတွေ အဖြစ် လှီးဖြတ်ကာ မူကြိုကျောင်း သွားမည့် သားအတွက် ပြင်ဆင်ပေးခဲ့တာပါ။
တခါတလေ အိမ်မှာ ပြုလုပ်ကာ စားဖြစ်တာကြောင့် စားလို့ကောင်းပါတယ်။
ရေညှိထမင်းလိပ်ကို သားသမီးတွေ ကြိုက်နှစ်သက်စွာ စားကြတာ မြင်ရတော့ ပြင်ဆင်ပေးရသော မိဘမှာ ကျေနပ်ပီတိဖြစ်ရတာပေါ့။
