I am Venezuelan-Canadian. I left Venezuela in 2010, always with faith in a change that would bring me back.

SOUCE
Venezuela is a country of dreamers, people like me who struggle to survive, to provide for their families. We had the hope in our hearts that with the vote on 28 July, we would make the change. But our dream has been frustrated by a tyrant who wants to perpetuate himself in power.
As I write, a lump in my throat brings tears to my eyes, because, three days after the elections, the fraud has been forged. I, in particular, in the light of events, see no way back.
The wolf has bared its fangs, not to say that the devil has shown his face. My Venezuelan brothers and sisters are suffering, and the international powers will not intervene. Sanctions against politicians, or rather dictators, are not enough, because these people use them in turn to literally hang the ordinary citizen.
Peace for Venezuela
and for the whole world.
