Thanks, I am looking forward to trying it out and seeing what a manageable pace is for me. It actually has some special shock absorption in it so it isn't that noisy. My heavy feet clopping on it is actually probably louder than the motor and belt! I was sweating so much, it was gross.
Sounds like it's working. Adding an incline will make it harder.
We may not have room for a treadmill. Our elliptical trainer used to be in the study, but was fairly compact. Now I have my drums there is less space, but that's another form of exercise.
That is a good point about the drums. We used to have an elliptical, but it was huge and we didn't really enjoy using it. We got rid of it before we moved the last time so we didn't have to lug it around.
