I can't say exactly what woke me up from sleep. Maybe it was the emptiness in my bed or something more, I don't know. But what I do know was that when I found what I was looking for, my day fully started.
I had an early morning walk. It wasn't planned. It just happened, and was I glad I had to take that early morning walk despite having leg pain from yesterday's hiking? No. For some reason, I felt the urge to go out on that walk. I even dressed up for it, and it was a beautiful morning except when the sun finally woke up to say Hi.
Though I have heard statements like early morning sun giving some sort of vitamin, I am still not fond of it. I do not fancy too much brightness on me or my skin. It makes me super uncomfortable. I do prefer the normal cloudy weather, a little wind that makes the trees or flowers around dance swiftly like they are in some sort of fairy tale.
Walking in that kind of weather, especially in a calm place, always makes me happy, like I won the lottery. That's mostly why I prefer a night walk and... that's what I did. I decided to take a walk to a park, not so close to me when the sun was going off to sleep.
It was then I took the picture above. It is pretty, init? And not only that, it gives off this amazing feeling, too. I don't know, maybe it was because I was in the midst of nature, or maybe it was the calmness around me. But what I do know and am super sure of is that I enjoyed my walk.
...and I didn't go for a walk without music. It energizes me and fills me in always, so having a song to lead me on was awesome. I wrote a post on Gloria Gaynor, whose music I used on my post on Saturday to celebrate her birthday, and her music has been with me.
So, I had this song accompanying me as I took a nice warm walk to the park.
I listened to more music as I took a walk back home, and it was refreshing. Breathing in nature's fresh air, moving my body left and right as the breeze blew softly around me, whispering sweet words filled with calmness. It was amazing, and I love it.
