Yesterday, I visited KAFTAN TV, the place where I did my internship as a video editor. It had been a while, so since I wasn’t too busy, I thought it’d be nice to visit.
Walking in, I realized how much had changed. I barely knew anyone there anymore. Most of the people I worked with weren’t permanent staff, so they’d moved on. A few familiar faces greeted me warmly, but it just wasn’t the same vibe as when I was interning. Back then, the video editing department was buzzing with energy and collaboration.
Still, it was nice to be back, even if only for a short visit. The place reminded me of how far I’ve come and how much I’ve learned. My time there shaped a lot of the skills I use today, and even though things are different now, I’ll always be grateful for that chapter of my journey.
