Hey dear actifitters and readers,
It was a rainy Sunday, but...
Waking up and seeing all the raindrops at the window isn't what you want to see on a Sunday morning.
But there was a bright spot at the horizon. And it wasn't the weather forecast 😅
It was home match again in the 1st German volleyball Bundesliga. Our home team was playing another promoted team from last years 2nd league.
It was a promising match and we're all hoping for a victory. The venue wasn't sold out but full of fans making much noise.
We had perfect place very close to the court and the players.
Introducing the players of the home team is a fun event with good sounds and a green lightshow.
Our team lost the first set due to many serving mistakes. It wasn't a pleasure to watch.
They played much better in the 2nd set and could win the easily. They made a few aces at the end of the set and the crowd was screaming them to the win.
Unfortunately it was only the 2nd set which could be won. Set three and four were easy wins for very strong guests. Especially in the last set there was no chance for our home team. However, it was a perfect activity for a rainy Sunday afternoon.
At the end I've got a funfact for you. The player wearing the trikot with no. 14 was playing at our local beachvolleyball field. We played some matches and he lost some against me. 😎
To be clear I'm not a volleyball pro and he isn't perfect in beachvolleyball but it still feels very good.
