This was my very first ride on my new Turbo Levo! Entering a new phase in my life, namely old age! Yuk! 😆. The time has come to use some assistance in the form of a powered bike. It has to be said that I was surprised just how good it is!
Setting off on a short ride today of about 12 miles. I tested the bike on some sheepish roads going out. Very impressive on full power uphill. With three power levels, I found the first level was plenty for most of my ride.
I found a new track which has been laid by the council. It seems to be a short cut, probably due to a boundary dispute. It has been very well done, with a new gate.
This time of year is always a great time for walks or cycling in the woods. There are amazing colours everywhere. But not for much longer.
On arriving at Silt Lake in Tilgate I spotted a heron perched on top of the viewing platform at some distance away. I took two shots, both with my mobile phone. One normal 1/1 mode. Another zoomed in with support on a fence. Amazing results.
Today was a great introduction to powered cycling. I now look forward to many more of these rides. More often and much further too! 😉
