For this cycling trip, I chose a route that would be good to ride without the need for a snorkel! 😆
Actually, as we have not had much rain for a while, the going was very good to firm. I avoided the tracks that are always wet this time of year. It paid off. The only wet bit was on a tarmac road! 🤣
The battery power on my bike was good. I use the lowest power most of the time, which is plenty. After two rides, I have only used 50%. Max power is great for uphill though. 😁
Using the battery power has reduced my maximum heart rate by about 10-15 bpm.
According to my Garmin, recovery is 26 hours. That is much better than using a non-battery powered bike by far! But I'm still getting the required fitness maintenance.
I love the riding conditions this time of year. Soft, with plenty of leaves to cushion the rough surface. I must also say that having a bike with full suspension is great!
I passed by the lake at Buchan Park. It looked very calm and a tranquil today under the still gloomy looking sky. A great ride of about 17 miles today. Mostly off road or minor tarmac roads.
