Deli containers will change your relationship with food and cooking. they are cheaper than tupperware, more versatile, they stack better, fit better in a fridge or freezer, and come in different sizes. They can be put in the dishwasher and re-used even though they look single use. The lids completely seal them water tight and they will not come off, and the plastic is very strong. I used to waste so much food before, and now when I cook in bulk, I portion it into deli containers, put what I can use in the next few days in the fridge, and what I can't use in the freezer. As I run out of fridge food, I pull from the freezer and rotate, and so I cook 1 time, but then have fresh healthy food for weeks after.
Mine are 8 months old and I've only broken 2 of them, washed them dozens of times and still works great. I never want to put my food in any other kind of container.
They stack really well, like 10 of the big ones takes up not much more space than 1 of the big ones. I keep em on my kitchen table, and I'm always grabbing and using them, and put em in the top rack of the dishwasher as i rotate and use them. Then out of dishwasher and back onto the table.
