Accompanied my dad on my day off to a day trip to Madrid, he wanted to see the Royal Palace on his first time visiting the city so lo and behold - this may not be the Throne Room nor the more famous main stairwell, but I found their very own Royal Chapel to be very ethereal!
The ceiling was intricately made as if angels were singing from the dome above and let me tell you how this photo doesn't capture how this room was shimmering with all the gold linings that decorated this section of the Palace!
The place itself is quite worth the €25 entrance as it does at least take 3-hours to really take in the entirety of the tour (notwithstanding the Royal Gallery Collection that comes with this price). Better to buy your tickets at least a week in advance though, it does help for faster entry, since we saw a line of people without it wanting to see the place.
