Breakfast was scrambled eggs and cheese. I also cooked a steak for us. I tried my hand at making a corn bread. I did cut back a little on the sugar, but I thought it still came out tasty. I used a masa harina instead of a regular corn meal.
Went to the trail with the dog. It was a cool and clear morning again. We had a good walk. Pushed it to a two mile walk today. We didn’t see too many people on the trail. Toward the end we saw a group of bicyclists that were preparing to ride the trail.
Lunch was egg salad sandwiches on hoagie rolls. We had potato chips on the side. We watched some episodes of House MD. We had to go out shopping for bay leaf. Tried the three local stores and couldn’t find it. We were cooking black beans to make veggie burgers.
Didn’t go to the trail since it was too warm. Dinner was cheeseburgers made with black beans and mushrooms, plus some panko bread crumbs and spices. We had them on buns and they were delicious. For dessert we had some watermelon. Anyway, thanks for reading.
