I inadvertently took a little hiatus from my blog, due to a combination of being very busy and also having a hip flexor issue. But today was a great day!
I went out for a 20-mile bike ride in the afternoon, and then went walking with my husband after dinner.
It was the perfect summer day for cycling, after a terribly stormy night where my family and I had to take shelter in the basement due to tornado warnings.
I love those big puffy cumulus clouds!
Of course I was riding my bike, so I had to stop if I wanted to take photos. But now and then I captured a scene.
In this next photo, I was in the home stretch, and took a spin through my favorite park. But since we’ve had quite a bit of rain lately, the trail was flooded!
So I had to turn back get home a different way.
That was about it for bike ride pics. Here are a few from my later sunset walk with my husband.
Thank you for visiting!
