I humbly welcome you to my Actifit Report for Sunday, 16th February 2025.
I woke up very early on this day because I wanted to attend the second service.
Come to think of it 🤔 it has actually been long since I joined the first service.
I will have to put that in check for next week.
Hopefully, I will make it, which I doubt 😂😅
Anyway, I quickly prepared and went to church to show I was early enough.
I did some house chores like sweeping before going to church, unlike other days that I leave everything and run to church, so I can meet up.
The service was nice, and officiating was super cool as well.
Let me share the word with you.
Message : Demonstrating God's nature
Scripture reference : Mattew 22: 36-40, Proverbs 25:26.
Love is a failure proof.
Proofs of love for God
A. You will love his word ( Psalm 119:27)
B. You will love his house (Psalm 84:1, Psalm 122:1)
C. You will promote his kingdom (Haggi 1: 2-8)
D. You will serve him ( Joshua 24:15, Daniel 6:20)
E. You will love to win souls (John 3:16, 2 Peter 3:9)
F. You will obey him (1 John 5:3, John 2:5)
G. You will love your neighbour (Mattew 22:39)
H. You will love to give ( John 3:16)
What love for God can do
I. It enthrones (Psalm 47:7, 1 John 4:16)
Ii. It establishes companionship with God ( Romans 8:32)
Iii. It is the foundation for an outstanding love of God.
I didn't stay for the 4th service, which was a Thanksgiving service.
I came back to prepare something to eat, relaxed for a while.
Ran an errand for a friend.
Then, I walked around in the evening.
It's funny how the sun was still up around 4:30pm.
I also stopped by the river to embrace nature and appreciate the works of God.
This point is where I got most of the random photos I shared in my report on this day.
Because, I didn't carry my phone to church.
I relaxed with a movie later in the night before calling it a day😊
