House Chores continues!
Most of the time, during public holidays, a lot of urban people will take the opportunity to just chill somewhere away from the buzzling city.
Not for me, though...
I got some "Mission Impossible" to achieve
why??
Sneaky in the middle of the night after the elderly are fast asleep, setting up the new plastic cabinets just to tidy up the chaotic state in my room
It has been almost 5 years since I moved to my own place, and everything seems to still be in boxes. My bedroom literally feels like a storeroom sometimes when I don't have enough time to tidy up.
So, with sore thumbs after 2 hours setting up 5 freaking stackable containers, I could finally see some positive progress that my room won't look like a hurricane came in most of the time.
Why sore thumbs??
Actually the setting wasn't supposed to be that hard, but because the design had some really specific latches that actually requires some thumb-strength to lock those tiny sharp latches, not only it was time consuming if done for the first time, the fingers and thumbs are sore because trying to secure its hook-like position.
By the time I came to the 4th box, I was a lot faster getting it done, and then I forgot about the tiny wheels that not only serves as easy moving, it also sits nicely as a fasten leg to ensure the box doesn't move about.
Never miss this part out.
That's how the hook looks like that took me at least 15 minutes to figure out how to latch on 😅
Overall, it was still satisfying, though painful for my thumbs. Good thing they didn't turn out bruised and swollen the next day. 🥵
Of by the way, all of these hard work cost around $42 USD for 5 layers (including shipping) that can take about 50kg of weight (especially the bottom one it is not out of shape yet)
How about you?
Are you common to set up your own furnitures?
Until Then
Stay healthy, stay curious and learn new things, and stay happy!
