Have you ever been shown an extraordinary hospitality? Then you know it can be exciting to be a guest 😁.
In this post I'll report to you how I shown great hospitality in a friends house. And his is my actifit report for Sunday 11 Feb.

So this day I decided to take a walk with my sister and also visit a friend's family.
We took a walk enjoying the views on the street.

The streets were very busy, children playing, adults chatting, cars and people walking by.
We were also excited to watch kids do do some bicycle race on the street

Watching them was really fun, Riding bike is my favorite sport so my heart was leaping with joy seeing them.

There were also other kids playing different games and street football.

We soon got to the friend's family house and we met his parents. They were the very definition of hospitality!

First they offered us drink and snacks as desert, we were asked to choose whatever drink we wanted and so it was given to us!
I chose a malt drink and a sausage we call gala!

After the drink and snack, it turned out it was just an appetizer, as there was a lot more to come.
Next they offered us rice and banana to eat, normally we eat rice with banana or pawpaw fruit, this time we got a banana with the rice and stew!

I loved this food in particular because it was really tasty, besides, I was really hungry hehe.

Well we had good chats with the family. The mother makes chain belts and some jewelries so I was also learning and practicing how to make the belt, and it was easy.

I enjoyed the experience, learning something new is always fun! πŸ˜€
That's not where the hospitality ended, they also took us to their farm and showed us to ripe pawpaw to pluck.
Since the tree was to too tall we had to use a really long stick to get it down

After getting the fruit we were also asked if we wanted to eat it now but I was already full and so was my sister, so we have to keep it till next time!

Next we were discussing a lot of things with them. There's really no end to discussions hehehe.

They also sent me to their kitchen to get the Tapioca that they had prepared with the casava from the farm.

What, Tapioca is my favorite, it is one of the best snacks in Nigeria and it is very healthy, I really cannot resist it. It always goes with fresh peanuts or coconut, this time we had peanuts with it!

Since it was getting late, we knew we had to head back home, so we started arranging our things to leave. We bid them goodbye, but they also gave some money, at this point we wished we had bought them something while coming, the hospitality was too much lol!

Surely I look forward to visiting them again hehe, but this time I'll take gifts with me for them...

Well, in Nigeria hospitality is greatly encouraged especially for guests in the house, the guests must feel at home.

We walked our way down the street heading to our home, in the street in the evening there are a lot of tempting things lol.
We saw the pork meat sellers and how shiny it was, very irresistible, so we went closer and bought some to take home

That was it hehe, I enjoyed the day so much, we got home and freshener up, we couldn't have dinner at home with the family lol! We were very full.
