Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was the day to finally fly back home. I was hoping to get a final view of my favorite hills before leaving but all I could see above the houses was fog and clouds.
Sam already understood something was different, and when he was allowed to jump on one of the sofas, he knew for sure. He will not get as many long walks once I'm gone.
The trip itself went smoothly. As usual, a lay over in Amsterdam and then Detroit. But my first flight was a bit later than I am used to, and once we got above the clouds, I was surprised to see this great view on my beloved Alps, that I couldn't even really visit during this trip.
With Mont Blanc dominating the whole scenery of course.
While other people were already trying to sleep in the plane, I was stuck to the window admiring these mountains standing tall above the clouds.

Nothing else to report about the trip, a few delays here and there, but no problem for the connection and various customs to cross. All in all, a good trip. Of course, when I arrived at home, Kaia went crazy for a few minutes. Not as much as Genepi used to, but very funny to see. She quickly remembered one of her habit too: steal all the beds although she has several ones just for herself. Le Chat showed up too of course, but she wasn't in the mood for photos apparently.
Well, now it's back to the home routine. Starting with a long week end and cold weather to welcome me, will probably help the transition. Let's see how it goes.
I didn't need to go run around the yard, but I just barely went over the bar for #poprzeczka...
