Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was a busy day, so we didn't have much time for a very long walk with Kaia. The constant rain didn't help either. But early afternoon, we managed to start a walk in the forest behind the front yard.
We ended up going all the way to the South end of that forest. We found a new Mr Tree too. The previous one was in the other forest and I'm pretty sure it got cut down or broke.
Do I have too much imagination or does it really look like a face?
It was still raining but we added a few more steps in the neighborhood before going back home.
We were surprised by these 2 tiny dogs, loose in somebody's front yard. We heard their owner calling them from the house. I guess she didn't want to get in the rain but she was lucky these dogs were smart enough not to run at Kaia!
When we got home, Kaia went directly into her crate to dry. I didn't force her of course, and the crate door is always open, but that's her safe place, like a den. Of course, that didn't prevent the whole house from smelling like wet dog!
Once again, Le Chat stayed away from all that activity and saved her energy for more important things later, or maybe not...
One of the reasons we were short on time was a show we were going to in the evening, To Kill a Mockingbird. It was at the Fisher theater, one of my favorite buildings in Detroit. The show was pretty cool, with very relevant matters, even so many years later.
After the show, I realized there are so many more Cubiverse vaults in the city compared to our suburbs. So I convinced my friends to walk in the city for a bit and caught plenty of vaults. With all that, I'm actually glad I did reach 20k steps. But that puts me really behind in #Macfit Final Four. Even if I step it up over the week end, like I was saying yesterday, it's still very likely I will finish last. Oh well, we can't win them all! Reaching the Final Four was already better than I thought I'd do.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
