I'm happy to announce my closets, bathrooms, and bedrooms look amazing right now.
I even gave some extra unwanted clothing to a charity.
Despite these accomplishments, a sense of loneliness lingered.
My children were home but retreated to their rooms, leaving a quiet house.
The urge to connect with someone became overwhelming.
Though tired, I headed to the gym.
I needed to talk, to shake off the negative feelings.
A last-minute boxing session provided the perfect outlet.
The physical exertion and the camaraderie with fellow boxers lifted my spirits.
It's amazing how much sports can boost your mood.
I'll continue this positive momentum with some evening yoga before bedtime.
