A bit of a ugly job having to get 6 cane toads out of the swimming pool skimmer box this morning, we have not had any rain for a couple of days so they must jump in looking for water. I have heard they don't like the salt water chlorine systems, but it does not stop them.
These cane toads are classed as a pest up here as they were introduced to help control other pests but became pests themselves and continue to work their way south and other parts of Australia.
We seem to see more and more cane toads every year and less of the nice green tree frogs.
A good activity count was done with my morning run, house, and yard chores plus the afternoon stroll.
