A bit of faster running has lifted my Garmin Vo2 max score. To start off, I have just added some really short busts within my zone 2 easy run. If I keep it short, just like a bit of speed, play, it does not raise my heart rate that much and gets my legs used to running a bit quicker again. I am not sure if this is cheating, but this small change seemed to have helped take a minute off my parkrun time this week with a lower heart rate, which I think my garmin watch liked.
Other than the run, it was a busy day visiting my son and his family, getting lots of yard chores done, and a longer afternoon walk.
