“Pushing the Boundaries of Time and Space!” 😇

Silvertop “was Banned” from shopping with Liz today, because of the “Santa Clause” Lol!🤣
I decided instead to push the limits of daylight, with today’s hike!
Where I was hiking today, took me far past yesterday’s destination of “Towhee Ridge”!😅
I was headed to the “other side of the Mountain!”☺️
You guessed it my friends, Silvertop was headed to “Soaring Eagle” trailhead!👍
This steep Northeast side of Sumas Mountain was purchased in 2022, and then added to the “Stewardship Forest” that Keith and Lynne have set up for future generations to enjoy!😊
Switchback, after switchback, I descended down the side of the Mountain.
The valley, and the lower sections of this mountainside were logged many years ago.
New seedlings are now growing at a rate of 18 to 24 inches a year!
The upper forest was owned by a different person at the time, and mature Douglas Firs cast their shadow across the land!😊
I knew I couldn’t make it to the bottom today.
I hiked about a quarter of the way down,
that would have to do for today!
I wanted to take a panorama photo of the view, from left to right.
So the “Un stitched”, panorama is what you see in the last three photos!
Liz always said that this would make the perfect spot for a home…….. if we could only drive our car up here Lol!😇
