My Actifit Report Card: May 7 2025

Good morning. 🏃🙏💞💪🧹🏡

It started with a rousing sound, as if someone was knocking on my bedroom door hard. I woke up with a start. The first touch of my feet on the floor was a surprise. I felt the cold dampness spreading all over the roof and the floor of the upper floor. Confusion rushed into my mind. What happened? Did it rain so hard last night? Why didn't I feel anything at all? It must be because of exhaustion that made me sleep so deeply that I didn't hear anything.
In my curiosity, I stepped around the upper floor of the house. My eyes suddenly fell on the front balcony. The sight made me sigh softly. Yes, a lot of dry leaves were washed away by the rain and piled up on the balcony floor. It seemed that nature had left traces of chaos for me to deal with. Before starting any activities this morning, cleaning was inevitable. I started cleaning the leaves with determination, letting the silence of this morning be my companion.
When the balcony was clean again and I checked the house again, it was time for my body to release its energy. I turned on some upbeat music and opened the YouTube application to search for interesting exercise videos. My eyes looked out at the sky at that moment. The dawn hadn't fully shone yet. This made me not notice any signs of the rain clouds that were quietly forming.
I started exercising with energy. My body gradually woke up to the rhythm of the music and various exercises. After about 30-40 minutes, my freshness began to spread throughout my body. But then the unexpected happened. Suddenly, the rain poured down heavily. The raindrops hit the roof with a loud bang. I had to decide to stop exercising in the middle. Even though I had to take a break from sweating, hunger started to greet me. So I walked straight to the kitchen. My next destination was to prepare a delicious breakfast and make coffee to energize my body that needed food. After waking up and exercising for a while, even though this morning there was an obstacle from the uninvited rain, I still felt good about starting a new day by moving my body.

Running on the concrete road in the village

Along with the fragrant smell of breakfast that I had intentionally prepared for my husband, when everything was ready, I handed him the breakfast menu. At the same time, my determination to exercise was still strong, so I decided to change my goal to jogging on the concrete road in the village, a familiar path and my regular routine.
I let my husband enjoy his breakfast alone, then stepped out of the house, heading towards the concrete road that stretched along the Trang River. Before reaching the concrete road, the ground was still wet from the rain that had just fallen. My favorite sneakers had to be wet from the beginning, but it did not reduce my determination. When my feet touched the concrete floor, I started running slowly and steadily.
The scene on the concrete road this morning was different from other days. It was as if the road had become the second-floor balcony of the house. Dry leaves and small branches were scattered everywhere. Some parts of the road looked clean, as if the rain had washed away the dirt. But in areas with the shade of large trees, leaves and branches still covered the surface. The water in the canal today was a murky brown, similar to the color of the sky that was dark with rain clouds. I felt that it would rain again soon, so I hurried my pace. With my favorite workout app open, I ran around four or five times, feeling quite tired, so I decided to run back to the garden house.

Garden house
When I arrived at the garden house, I warmed up my coffee and breakfast again. The aroma of coffee filled the entire balcony. I sat down to sip coffee on my favorite wooden table, looking out at the green garden surrounding the house. It didn’t take long for me to finish that cup of coffee before I started my daily mission, which was preparing breakfast for my mother-in-law and my beloved pets.
I carefully prepared breakfast for my mother-in-law and then gently fed her. When my mother had finished her breakfast, she went to take a shower. Today, I boiled warm water and mixed it with cold water for her to bathe because the weather was quite cold from the rain. She looked happy and relaxed after taking a warm shower. Then, I helped her get dressed, did some light physical therapy, and let her rest.
After taking care of my mother-in-law, I brought the prepared food to the various pets living in this garden house, including colorful parrots, small Sulcata tortoises, chickens, swaying ducks, frogs, fish swimming in the pond, and even cows. Life in the garden house is full of life every morning. My happiness is being close to and taking care of these pets.
The next mission is to clean the balcony downstairs. Even though it rained, it didn’t wash away all the dirt. So I had to use a water hose and a floor brush to clean this area every morning. In addition to cleaning, I still have to water the plants and organize the potted plants beautifully.
And this is the story of my morning exercise and responsibilities. I hope you guys enjoy reading these little stories. See you again with the next story.
