Man, the ceiling-fan injury reminds me of the wound that I just got a few days ago, when a branch (spring-held by another branch) hit me very hard on the side of my right eyebrow, coming very, very close to my eye. There was a lot of blood, and quite quickly, so I knew it was pretty deep, but I still had my eye thankfully. Kukui nut sap and Aloe were put on it once it clotted (I clot quickly), and it's been healing very quickly, with no sign of infection.
