Being optimistic does pay off; one is you get more reasons to be happy, two the little things makes you laugh to yourself like a clumsy thing you did or said, three… (I should stop listing now and mention the one that gets me smiling now) you enjoy life more.
For the past days there are so many things that has happened to me and my family that should get me being a pessimist and hating everything - oh I had that running for a while which brought several other negative feelings to affirm the first and I became a complainer and got the award of being what I dreaded the most to be attached to my description A pessimist. It's funny how a child called that out.
With all that is happening in and around my country Nigeria as well as the struggle to remain sane in this heat amidst the hike in the price of everything including water. I am grateful for beautiful sceneries, for breath, life, livelihood, hobbies, appetite, hope and the gift of communication. I am grateful for Hive.
I sewed, cut out an outfit, attended afternoon mass+ stations of the cross, watched movies one of which was ‘To the bone’ it starred Keanu Reeves one of my favorite actors but my over expectation was a bit let down nonetheless I learnt a whole lot.
Did you know that work out and weight loss can be overdone? I am also grateful for balance.
I tutored, took pictures on my way to tutoring and got more clients to assist in achieving their dreams to excellence, yippie!!!
I am alive and grateful. Hope you are too.
