Like many others I met her for her song Amanecer which by the way is a song that today after many years since its release is one of my favorites in her career. Many others have known the singer for her work as a judge on the talent show “Got talent Spain” which by the way I am a follower of the show since the first season. She has also been there since episode 1.

With that little context I've left you with I think it's time to tell you about his new song. As I told you he released it 6 days ago. The song is called “La Culpa”, in my opinion this will be a new hit at the level of “amanecer” I really loved it and I am not saying that because I am a follower of the singer but because I really liked the song. Now there is something important that I have to emphasize here, this song is the last preview of what will be her new album “Ecstasy”.

Yes because if you don't know there are already other previews released in previous months in preview mode, in case you want to listen to them. By the way, according to what I was reading on instagram the new album will be released on August 30.

Going back to the new song, to begin with, I'll tell you that La Culpa is a kind of ballad different from what is usually heard, I could even notice that it is even a bit new in the genre that Edurne sings, because she is more inclined towards pop. Although, in the last few years she kind of wants to change that label and it is noticeable that she has rotated through several genres. All of them with a lot of quality. I say all this because the song is interesting for joining pop and electronic music parts that in my opinion give it a fresh touch, but with that classic Edurne's flow.

Haha😀, I haven't told you what the song is about yet, I preferred to leave it for the end because I think it's the most interesting part. The song is about those feelings that we all have had at some point, i.e. regret, that little kiss that didn't happen hahaha😅, and the fear of making the decision to leave something or someone. All this is sung by Edurne in the song. So in text it may sound simple but the song is very good and I think as I said at the beginning it is perfect to close the summer that unfortunately is coming to an end. But there will be more summers, right.

The other thing I want to tell you about the song is that although the lyrics are kind of sad, the rhythm is rather danceable, so don't get carried away just by the lyrics. As for the videoclip. Edurne decided to do something different this time. There is no choreography, it's more like a short video of Edurne in a loop, the audio is the important thing in this video. Who knows, maybe later the singer will release a more elaborate video, she has already done it.
