RE: Not Happy, Jan - But Happy 🫶🏻🥹❤️‍🩹

Yep, that's true companionship right there. Very happy that you found just that person! And I know how hard it is to stand besides and not do anything... I finally got to the point that I can let Ellie make the coffee now, without correcting anything. And chop some of the veggies for her salads. I wonder how that will go as soon as we're living together...

I really hope your arm gets better, soon. I already had my list of natural remedies ready, but then I remembered that you posted something about Jamie getting comfrey mashed up, so I'm pretty sure you got it all under control. May it heal quickly and fully so you can hit the waves!

Wow now I bet she's happy about that! When you live together there WILL be a period of adjustment - god knows Jamie and I used to fight in that stage of our union! - but you settle into a rhythm after a while. Sometimes you just need to let shit go and realise even though they do things differently, it doesn't matter and isn't worth niggling over.

I do have a heap of natural remedies on hand, and when that fails, I turn to other things. Had to laugh, I went to doc just to confirm I was doing what I knew I should be, and he asked what I was doing. I said I was using comfrey cream. 'What's that? Com - free?' he said. I do wish they'd give these doctors at least a crash course on common and useful herbal remedies.

At least he didn't say "cum-free"... Natural remedies are awesome. A friend of mine owned plant nurseries for most of her life, and know makes all kind of tinctures. Every time I have an outschie that does not go away quickly, she hooks me up with arnica or comfrey or whatever is perfect. And her stuff works! Got to stay clear of her cookies, though, she has a high tolerance and a quarter of her cookies give me quite the trip.

I lived together with my ex wife for quite a while. I've learned a lot then, mainly that I can be quite obsessive with small things. So I worked on that for the last decade, and I hope I'll be able to apply it right this time. She deserves it. And we're going to move into a place that is new for both of us. That will make it easier.
