The increasing price of food and eggs in particular is directly coming from predator class interests to incrementally extract wealth from the masses of the world. At its core is insatiable greed driven by control factors to synthetically engineer shortages. In its worst form this comes as food scarcity and starvation warfare to control and direct the populace to long-planned desired self-destructive outcomes. This kind of warfare is not new it's based in campaigns like those imposed upon the Irish during The Great Hunger formerly known derisively as "The Potato Famine".

Bottom line is if we don't turn this around under citizen control it will lead to dire circumstances and dependence on an enemy that has nothing but loathing and contempt for you. Wicked shepherds seeking compliant and servile sheep to shear, abuse and turn into discarded mutton. Act like sheep get devoured by wolves. We can fix this but it requires valiance, loyalty, fortitude and resolve. Communities can easily start up micro chicken farming and have the citizens buy those eggs at much more sane and reasonable rates.
