I mean, after the Spanish sun, I suppose that the difference will be very drastic... But, as you said that you moved so many times, I suppose that you are used to that...

Hahaha we wanted to go to Scotland after the US didn’t go through. What we were planning just over a year now, the delays were backlogs due to covid paper wise. The company was relocating us to the US. But that changed last October due to take overs etc what ended up into redundancy and no relocation. So the country that came close to Massachusetts in the things we would like there was Scotland.
So we changed our plans in 1,5 months.
The exact location was not our choice… just the only rental we could get from afar and unseen… at the moment hardly any rentals up in Scotland. Very hard to get between and lot of rules. We wanted to be in the east, the cairngorms. Now we ended up in the west and the highlands.
So far all fine and we love it here. We have this rental as a base… for the next year to 1,5 year. We will search our perfect area, and then a little house to renovate. So 1 more move hahaha 🤣
Also new job… was remote in the UK. We couldn’t stay in southern Spain as it got so difficult to be a cross border worker in Gibraltar. Brexit related.
Yep, the change is very dramatic. But we missed 4 seasons and green nature around us. Being able to go out and walk any day in any season.
I am used to change and can adjust… just need to acclimatise a bit more.
