A burger made by robots in 27 seconds.

With strict hygiene standards.

Imagine with me, arriving at a hamburger restaurant and no hair in the hamburger, no delays, no traces of fecal coliforms, it seems like a true dream, because that is exactly what BurgerBots promises, a new chain of hamburger restaurants in the United States where robots prepare hamburgers from start to finish in just 27 seconds, but don't worry, before you think it's the end of human jobs, let me tell you this story better.

The BurgerBots operation is completely robotic from grinding the meat to final assembly, but that does not mean that there are no humans in the burger restaurant, on the contrary, the employees are still there (except the cooks) only that now they can focus on better serving customers and ensuring that the experience is impeccable.

The robot is in charge of the most repetitive, tiring and even dangerous part, such as grilling and assembling the hamburgers. For now, the human team is responsible for the hospitality, customer service and general management of the establishment (for how long? I'm just asking) yes friends, in Los Gatos, one of the most exclusive areas of California, the future has arrived at once in the fast food sector.

Food preparation with surgical precision.

The company ABB Robotics joined Burger Bots and put two types of robots to work together, the IRB 360 Flex Speakers and the Yumi Cobots, collaborative robots, these machines work with incredible precision, stacking hamburgers, lettuce, cheese, sauce, special, onions, pickles on a bun with garlic, all with millimetric perfection so that you get an idea, they can prepare each gourmet burger in less than 30 seconds and the best, always the same, always at the right point, without errors or excess mayonnaise.

An investigation by ABB itself revealed something interesting: about 67% of restaurant and hotel employees welcome the idea of robots taking on repetitive or unpleasant tasks. For them, this does not mean losing their job but rather gaining more time to do more important things such as interacting directly with customers, which means that in addition to extracting efficiency.

These robots help improve the quality of service in general, customers receive food faster and without errors and employees can work more comfortably and safely.

More quality, more efficiency and less time.

I think, I like the idea of robberies taking over exhaustive and dangerous tasks, but believing that jobs will not be lost is quite naive and yes I am also afraid of losing my job, but progress must not be slowed down we will have to adapt.

The Burgerbot is not just another futuristic concept from the silicon valley, it was designed with efficiency, hygiene and scalability in mind, the system combines robots that manipulate ingredients with precision and conveyor belts that assemble the burger in real time, all with complete inventory tracking, guaranteeing that no ingredient is missing or overused.

This same technology is already being tested in other places around the world, such as in Latvia, where ABB also helped create a completely autonomous kitchen capable of preparing more than 1,000 different recipes. And what do you say? Would you like to be served by robots at your favorite fast food? Or do you think that human interaction and that little tear on the buttocks before receiving food makes all the difference?
