Fried eggs with sausage. What could be easier?
A dish from my distant Soviet past (it's a good thing it's long gone) .
In those days, there was a big shortage of good sausage. And meat. But you could buy some simple "boiled sausage". My parents would cut it and fry it in a pan, then pour eggs over it.
This is one of the first dishes I learned to cook.
Of course, hard cheese was also "scarce" in those days.
It was hard to buy. So adding hard cheese to scrambled eggs was almost "barbaric", lol.
Many products that are now easily available in stores were either in limited availability, or could only be purchased on holidays, or were expensive. In short... the Soviet Union is not a place you would want to live.
But... as I said, this dish is very simple.
You need to cut the sausage into thin slices (although some sausages are not very suitable), put them in a frying pan with sunflower oil. While the slices are frying, you can lightly beat a couple of eggs and chop or grate the cheese. It remains to pour the sausage with a beaten egg, and put or pour the cheese. Readiness should be monitored by the eggs.
That's all.
