Today I would like to share to recipe of Chilli Paneer it popular indo chinese street food of india in which fried cottage cheese dipped in the sauces based gravy. It is served with Fried Rice or Indian Bread. It is comes with comes with 2 variants i.e gravy and dry version, Gravy is served in the main course whereas Dry Chilli Paneer is served as appetizer or Snacks, the only difference is not to add cornflour water to make it dry. It is quick and Easy which tastes delicious. kids and Adults love to have it, if you are bored from daily meal them definitely try this recipe, you gonna like it for sure.

Ingredients 📃
For Paneer Pakoda
• 200 Grams of Paneer cubes.
• 2 tbsp of Cornflour.
• 2 tbsp of All-purpose Flour.
• 1/2 tbsp of Black pepper Powder.
• Salt to taste.
• Oil for Frying.
For Gravy
• 2 tsp oil.
• 2 cloves chopped garlic.
• 2 tbsp Slicely chopper onion.
• 2 green chilli, slit.
• ½ capsicum, green & red, cubed.
• 2 tbsp vinegar.
• 2 tbsp soy sauce.
• tbsp chilli sauce.
• ¼ tsp pepper, crushed.
• 1 tbsp corn flour.
• water as required.
• Salt to taste.

Cut the paneer into cubes, then add corn Flour, all purpose flour, Black pepper and Salt as per the quantity mentioned above.

Combined well, so that everything mix well, leave it for atleast 20 minutes, so that Paneer cubes absorb the spices. It will help you to make your pakodas more crispy.

Heat the oil on the kadai/Pan, Now add your marinated paneer cubes one by one. If you add them all at once, the paneer pieces will stick together and it will be difficult to fry them properly.

fry the paneer till they turn golden and crisp. Cook it on Medium Flame to get crispy pakodas

Drain off the fried paneer onto a kitchen paper and keep aside.

You can use the same pan in which you fried the paneer pakoras. You can prepare the gravy in it as well. Remove all the excess oil and leave only about 4 tbsp of oil in the pan. Prepare the the gravy by heating 4 tsp oil and saute 2 cloves garlic.

also add onion, Capsicum and green chilli. saute well for a minute. Don't overcook it, keep the Onion n capsicum crunchy.

Meanwhile, in a bowl add 2 vinegar, soy sauce, chilli sauce, pepper and salt. Mix ot well.

add the cornflour and add water. make a slurry too.

Pour the sauce and cornflour water into it. Keep stirring to avoid lumps. saute on high flame till the sauce thickens.

You can add more water as per your requirement. As it contains cornflour, then more water it will absorb so add extra water to it.

Add Paneer pakodas into the gravy then cook it for another 2 min on simmer flame.

Serve the hot Chilli Paneer with Indian Bread like Paratha or Roti, for best combo go with Fried Rice.
